I teach twelve contemporary dance classes a week for 4-17 year olds for Upbeat Dance. This involves the planning and preparation of dance routines, collecting monthly fees and working towards annual showcase events. In addition, I teach at Easter and Summer camps in school holiday periods and also work in several Midlothian primary schools taking lunch time and after school dance clubs. This involves the planning and preparation of dance routines, collecting monthly fees and working towards annual showcase events. In addition, I teach at Easter and Summer camps in school holiday periods and also work in several Midlothian primary schools taking lunch time and after school dance clubs. I also assist in marketing the company through a range of activities such as workshops, promotional videos and the design of merchandise. Although employed primarily as a dance teacher, I have helped to grow the business by developing website material and by advertising the company through social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. I interned in the Clients Department with the Marketing Request For Proposal (RFP) Team for three months and was given the lead on a project to create a new RFP directory for improved access to information. This was a new project which enabled information to be transferred onto a new Sharepoint platform. I also helped to answer RFPs for potential new clients and Due Diligence Questionnaires for potential and existing clients, collecting information from different sources.
