-Greet and prepare patients for the Providers.-Rooming patients (Visit info, Vitals, HIM or HM, Obtain and record history, Fall and Depression Screening, Medication Update, alerting RNs and providers when unexpected reading is obtained.) -Maintain Examination rooms supply based on the provider's need.-Actively communicate with patients to set expectation i.e. wait times, what to expect during visit, etc.-Performing capillary blood withdrawal, IM-SQ-ID Injections, EKGs, nebulizer treatments, ear irrigation, bladder scanning, basic wound care and bandaging, collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens, processing POCT urinalysis and Hemoccult. -Instructing patients in proper technique to collect urine and fecal specimens.-Printing AVS and guiding patient through it.-Documenting all in-house laboratory tasks and testing procedures.-Understanding and articulating the importance of QC procedures and instrument maintenance.-Screening and following up on test results as directed by a healthcare practitioner.-Actively involve in patient safety and quality care (Fall prevention, patient transfers, PPE usage, hand hygiene, masking, communication and patient hand-offs)-Calling 911, ER or UC as per provider's order to assist in patient care.-Scheduling patient appt, pending referrals. -Day to day basis huddling with the providers to accomplish purpose of the patient's visit.-Provides age-appropriate care in a compassionate, caring, culturally and ethnically sensitive manner.-Actively participate in continuing education and meetings.-Exhibit behaviors that support the organization's shared values, service standards and cultural beliefs.-Performing Annual Wellness Exam
