Lead Product Developer
CurrentDevelop print and digital titles including first editions and revisions; many of which continue to be market-leading products in higher education quantitative business disciplines. Curate and manage content for delivery in adaptive systems, online courses, multiple e-book formats, course management systems, and digital video platforms. Perform data analysis on budgets, usage reports and peer reviews to identify trends to guide authors in content decisions. Provide development suggestions adhering to learning theory best practices. Prepare manuscripts and digital content for production. Coordinate contributors including: supplement authors, accuracy checkers, media developers, freelance project managers, and copy editors. Monitor and manage project budgets. Create and track schedules of components across multiple simultaneous running product programs. Act as liaison with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful development, publication, launch, and use of each title. Participate in focus groups, symposiums, campus visits, Webinars, and presentations to obtain market feedback. Document, develop editorial processes and conduct training sessions for emerging digital tools and/or products. Manage product developers within the quantitative business publishing group; acting as mentor other editorial staff.
