I oversaw 4 of the 7 store locations in my district. This included training and developing 4 managers, 4-7 assistant managers and supervising 95 employees in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a team leader, and learning from my mentors, I used a supportive, hands-on coaching style to educate managers on their respective duties, implementing weekly check-ins and guidance. I ensured the customer experience and employee experience was consistent across all stores.Given our small corporate team, I also supervised company-wide operations, sales, team development, training, and marketing initiatives to propel growth and brand awareness. This included outlining high-level strategies to achieve each store’s KPIs, which were consistently met or exceeded at a 95% success rate within my district. I grew such an appreciation for the relationships I developed over the years. This encompassed relationships with 4,000 customers, 10 rescue organizations, and 15 outside vendors. I also had the amazing opportunity to partner with nearly 75 veterinary clinics and hospitals with skilled veterinarians and their teams to cross-promote services.
