Assign workflows and provide technical guidance and input on mixed-method research protocols and evaluation design, facilitating equitable and gender-sensitive MERL processes and approaches.Oversee refinement of LMH’s theory of change and key performance indicators in line with organizational strategic priorities.Promote accountability, communicate expectations and provide constructive feedback informally and formally for direct reports via regular one on one meetings and performance reviews.Lead the MERL team to shape standards to implement data routine reviews and interpretation of data for learning and adaptation; package and disseminate timely findings in a meaningful way.Oversee the MERL team budget, annual planning, and quarterly reviews.Represent the MERL team in organization-wide management forums.Define long and short-term priorities and plans in close collaboration with the other leaders.Provide MERL perspective in grant proposals and reports. Lead end-to-end management of the MERL activities in collaboration with leadership in New Country Programs including design and implementation of robust MERL plans, reflecting the LMH theory of change and program-specific scopes of work, IRB protocols, and ensuring the collection of relevant quality data, use of data for program improvement, and areas for further evaluation and dissemination of learning. Oversee analyst on data analysis activities and sharing of data with country teams in actionable formats Provide support developing and/or reviewing theories of change and KPIs. Designed and conducted an evaluation of a rural water system: constructed a survey instrument, key informant interview guide and focus group discussion guide. Administered 34 surveys and 4 key informant interviews across multiple stakeholder groups (water pump technicians, community members, community health workers, etc.) to assess program sustainability and determine programmatic recommendations.
