I am a snowsports and outdoor industry manager who gains a sense of purpose when I can empower and connect with others to cultivate growth and positive impact through sharing my love of the outdoors. I believe leadership is a journey. It requires you to serve others with your whole heart, to be authentic and vulnerable and be willing to do the hard work. In my various experiences as a professional snowsports instructor and athlete, resort manager, adaptive examiner, and outdoor enthusiast I hold true to my values of empathy, diversity, and innovation and foster a culture of collaboration within the teams I manage. I love to give back to my community through volunteering every year at the Disabled Winter Sports Clinic and Ski Spectacular, instructing veterans in snowsports activities. In 2016 I was nominated for SAMS (Ski Area Management's) top 10 under 30 mangers and also placed 7th in world standings for 2017 Freeride World Qualifier's snowboard women category. I continue to compete, train instructors on how to instruct people with varying disabilities, and manage high performing teams. Most recently I was a Colorado Outdoor Industry Office Fellow and have finished an Outdoor Industry MBA program at Western Colorado University with hopes of further developing my influence in the industry.
