Program growth is an iterative process.With over 15 years of work experience in program development and management, I am currently the ERSEA/PFCE Manager for PA CCP Early Head Start at CDI Head Start, serving programs across the state of Pennsylvania. Connecting with families, children, and caregivers to provide high quality early learning positively impacts everyone in the community.In my last role, I was the Program Manager at Weill Cornell Medicine's PrIMES Mentorship Program - a no-cost, data-driven, mentorship program. This program originated out of the Department of Neurological Surgery as a diversity pipeline program, and under my leadership, successfully transitioned into enterprise at New York Presbyterian Hospital System. PrIMES continues to connect premedical students from historically underrepresented backgrounds with medical school students, resident physicians, and younger attendings as near-peer mentors from across the country. In this role, I maintained and developed curriculum, scheduled and facilitated online events, managed the website and social media platforms, maintained mentorship software, collaborated on successful grant writing, management, and oversight, and built connections with mentors, mentees, and partners. I have a passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of human interaction. www.primesmentorship.org Previously, I was the Executive Director of Crawford County Coalition on Housing Needs, where I oversaw the non-progfit operation and funding of homeless shelter and affordable housing programs. The funding was a braided mixture of federal, state, and local grants, alongside donations and limited reserve funds. While at the Coalition, I oversaw AmeriCorp Vista workers, Career Link Paid Work Experience youth, as well as those employed by the Senior Community Service Employment program. Our team kept families together in safe housing through the pandemic, rebranded and marketed the organization, and increased social media presence. I enjoy collaboration and situations where many can benefit; those elusive win-win-win scenerios. I love puzzles and am a natural problem solver. I am adaptive leader and lifelong learner who can handle multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and professionalism. I am seeking opportunities where I may put my skills and experience to use making a positive impact on the lives of others by shifting systemic outcomes. Especially interested in advocating for those who are vulnerable or marganalized; by aiming for the margins, the entire system will benefit.
