As an Associate Researcher, I was committed to conducting legal analysis of natural language data to make AI understand different areas of legal disputes. I also manually reviewed this research process with time management. We uphold Data Security, Confidentiality and Sensitivity Training on the research data.

The Legal Advice Clinic is dedicated to give free and confidential advice to the public. I give advice on issues regarding immigration law and we only deal with pro bono work. This role requires dedication and enthusiasm so that we can relate to the member of the public and give them high level advice. This role developed my interview skills and legal writing skills. In this role, I was able to improve my writing and communication skills in order to extract the important information needed to give high level advice.

Citizens Advice Enfield gives people the knowledge and confidence they need in facing complicated and intimidating problems. We offer free and confidential advice online, phone and in person on a variety of areas, such as housing, benefits, employment, etc. As an Adviser, I was able to gain the ability to engage with a variety of challenging behaviours and problems. In this role, I was given intensive training on interview skills as it was essential for this role. I was also able to advance my IT skills and organisation skills used in regulating my time to accommodate clients in a limited time also, writing their cases and the next steps they will take after the interview. I also campaigned for policy changes that will benefit the community as a whole.

In this role, I was the first point of contact to applicants who wanted to apply to University of Westminster. It was required to greet the applicants with an accommodating tone for them to feel comfortable. I was also responsible for checking countless emails which needed to be checked and replied to and this has furthered my time management skills. This role also required me to manually review applications and assisting applicants to create an application. Many applicants felt distressed and upset because of their grades, hence I was responsible to comfort them by being helpful to them. I also helped the admin team with their extra work which also developed my cooperation skills.

This role gave me the responsibility to assist residents with mental health issues with their independency and social skills. As a support worker, I was required to maintain an enjoyable and accommodating atmosphere for our clients. Also, with the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I assisted the residents to assess their symptoms and unfold the root of a problem and solving it with them. This role required extensive communication and listening skills as it was important for the residents to feel that they are heard and that they are valued.
