About Christine Eckert
As a Lean / Agile Practitioner, my specialty is assisting businesses in making changes that are needed to increase the quality and speed of a company's software delivery pipeline to maximize value to their customers. I have spent my career as a continuous learner of continuous improvement methods. It began with learning and applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Process Improvement methods to streamline operations and eliminate waste. It was an easy transition to apply these methods to the software delivery waterfall process and to learn new lean software delivery frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, & Kanban. I have an in-depth understanding of the mindsets, principles & values of these new frameworks, as well as, hands on, working knowledge of the different roles within them (e.g., the Scrum Master, the Business Owner, the Architect, and the Product Manager). I am most attracted to the role of the Scrum Master since I enjoy: Being a servant leader and influencing others to adopt new behaviors Coaching and mentoring teams to transform into empowered teams Being accountable for removing barriers that can be organizational or individual in scope Continuously learning and improving
