Language, history, and culture are my passions and I express them in everything I do. I spend my days honing my skills as a fantasy writer, creating new histories and cultures. When I'm not practicing the art of Tolkien, I like to travel back in time and learn about the Sumerians, the Egyptians, and the Greeks. Hours have been spent researching myths about heroes battling monsters or gods creating wonders. When I'm not in an academic setting, I like to share what I've learned with others or apply it to everyday situations. My worldview is not the only one. Therefore, when I work with people, I take the time to get to know them. Who are they? Where do they come from, and what are their philosophies? I am good at working on my own but I am also a team player. I like to make connections with my coworkers and believe that a work environment can be fun while still professional. Crowds do not scare me either and if you ever need anyone to share their passion in front of others, I will be first in line. From telling the history of an old building to presenting a wine tasting, I am not shy of the spotlight.My goal is to change my work environment for the better through passion and creativity and in turn, I wish to learn new skills that I can apply in the future.
