I oversee 7 vocational subject areas, managing 22 staff and auditing whole school vocational paperwork. A large part of this role is liaising with external agencies to support curriculum development across the subject areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of internal and external verifications. I also oversee and organise the annual quality assurance process, collating information for Edexcel. I attend national vocational conferences and advise school SLT on local and national vocational issues and developments including changes to curriculum, white papers and strategic direction in relation to course content and national exam results.
