My day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the principal as we work together to achieve the local school's vision and mission. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, managing the special education and science departments, 8th grade teachers and students, and technology initiatives.

Responsible for designing and implementing various programs to support student achievement and exceptional quality instruction through the delivery of professional development, educational technology tools, and instructional support programs.Plan for strategic improvement of full-time and supplemental programs.• Determine course offerings for grades 4-12 based on local and system needs• Develop and implement plan of reporting student achievement data to home schools• Use student achievement data to plan for continuous instructional improvement • Evaluate effectiveness of instructional model and make adjustments, as appropriateCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders.• Serve as liaison between student, parent, and teacher in order to ensure clear communication• Present program data and information in various platforms; informational sessions, district events, and national conferences• Collaborate with instructional staff to determine and deliver communication needs of faculty and staff• Work with district, community, and school-based personnel to suggest appropriate uses of online learningIntegrate technology into instructional delivery.• Utilize learning management system and other web delivery technologies to support instructional improvement through professional development opportunities• Research and share educational technology tools with instructional staff• Model appropriate use of instructional technology through the use of technology tools in staff development and staff communicationIdentify curricular needs and establish procedures to ensure needs are met.• Collaborate with appropriate staff from various grade levels, schools, and related programs to establish needs and develop a plan for implementation• Utilize program data to identify areas requiring change and plan/implement changes, as appropriate• Ensure quality instructional standards are met and implemented throughout the program
