About Christine Cunningham

After years of expanding my experience in various areas including insurance, regulation enforcement, account management, disaster response, and training evaluation; I finally found where I was meant to be.The work that we do at Maryland Correctional Enterprises; training and preparing incarcerated individuals for release; has provided me with the satisfaction of knowing I am making a difference. Currently, I am acting Director of Staff Development & Engagement as well as Policies & Procedures Manager. My duties range from HR related tasks (recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and everything through retirement), to policy research and development and safety compliance and training. No two days are ever the same, but regardless of what I find myself doing, each day I know that everything I do is adding to our ability to offer opportunities to those incarcerated while within an institution and after release - making a difference in the lives of those individuals, their families and the communities.
