Supervised staff of 15 and managed a budget from $750,000 - $1.5 millionDeveloped programs related to YWCA’s core issue areas:Women’s Empowerment - Job training for single mothers to attain higher wage positions - Women of color leadership bank to increase representation in local leadership, including boards of directors and elected positions- Voter education and registration- STEM camps for girlsRacial Justice - Teacher training to include social justice content in lesson planning- Advocacy and community organizing to help ensure college access for Dreamers - Annual anti-racism training and ongoing community discussions Led the organization through a complete restructure to ensure the mission became imbedded in every aspect of YWCA operations and programs, including:- Sale of fitness center/pool to reallocate resources mission-based programs - Closure of programs not related to core mission- Purchase of a social enterprise to develop an onsite workforce development program- Increased fundraising and fund development over $500,000 in five years- Acquisition of new headquarters and return YWCA’s core service area

Consulted on and provided facilitation for organizational development, strategic planning, membership development, board governance and coalition buildingClients included: The Alliance for National Renewal, Coalition for America’s Children, The Center for Community and Justice, The National Assembly of Voluntary Health and Social Welfare Organizations, DC Action for Children

Managed technical assistance services to 293 local affiliates, including site visits, phone consultations, written resources and online services; created and implemented standards and systems for service delivery; developed training curriculum in areas of advocacy, program development, strategic planning, community research and evaluation; designed and implemented national demonstration projects in community programming, membership development, multicultural diversity, and governance; supervised staff of 12, over 30 volunteers and numerous consultants.
