In addition, I also had to devise a plan for how they should position themselves to these new markets with the right marketing mix and media strategy.I did this as a "student job" at the same time as I was writing my master thesis.

As part of the 9th semester of my University Degree I worked at the Royal Danish Consulate General in Toronto as a Trade Advisor. During my employment at the Consulate, I worked with different companies and projects, and was involved in among others the clean tech sector. My tasks at the consulate were mainly to assist the Danish clients entering the Canadian market i.e. Market/sector and competitor analysis, partner/distributor search, marketing, and establishing contact to Canadian companies on behalf of the Danish clients.Furthermore my tasks were key account management, to represent the Danish Government, writing articles, setting up fairs and exhibitions and finding new clients and contacting them.

Student Job: 15-20 hours per week.My initial task was to set up meetings between the insurance company and potential customers - both private and business.Later on, I helped develop the strategy for TM 2009. During the last two years of my employment, I was responsible for training new consultants and also served as a team leader for a team of 5 people, where my role was to motivate and delegate tasks.
