A graduate of the three year Electrical Engineering Technology Program with honors at Georgian College, Barrie Campus (2016). I am driven by logic and the lost art of common sense, among my core values are efficiency, competence and providing a valuable product or service to the customer. I take safety very seriously, and strive to protect both my crew and my clients from both known and unknown hazards, while delivering quality on time product.-For my Final Technical Report Project (Electrical Engineering,) I constructed a sensor embedded glove, the actions of which to be replicated by a robotic hand built to resemble a human hand. The project goal was to increase the resolution of readily found projects of similar nature, by increasing the number of sensors and servos used to replicate the various hand motions. To achieve this I separated the control of the first knuckle, from the second and third, which will allow for more complex hand motions. This project allowed me a glance into the world of robotic prosthetic and Human controlled robotics which can be used in situations where dangerous environments could pose a risk to human health.

Toronto, Canada Area
During my co-op placement with Wallwin Electric, I spent my days with a crew of Electricians and apprentices, installing solar panels on top of 3 Canadian Tires in the Greater Toronto Area. Installation included mechanically connecting the panels to rails, and placing the rails on footing tracks. Following a connection diagram and connecting the panels together in strings, and to combiner boxes. Installation of an Inverter and safety disconnect switches. Final testing and verification of connected panels, and bringing the system into service and connected to the grid.I also learned the importance of Solar Studies, and the efficient placement of the panels to maximize their exposure to sunlight which in turn allows them to capture as much light as possible during. This is an important step in the planning of solar panel placement, as a shadow cast across one panel in a string will cause the entire string to no longer generate power. As such considerations must be made regarding taller buildings and trees in the area, as well as structures currently present on the roof top, such as HVAC equipment.
