Is responsible for chemical analyses of soil, plant tissue, and water samples (including but not limited to water, plant, and soil K, P, Na, Ca, Mg, ZnMnCuFe, B, SO4, CEC, water carbonate/bicarbonate, Organic Matter, Organic Matter via Loss on Ignition, Water Solids, Plant Ash. Utilize and perform maintenance on Atomic Absorption, Induction Coupled Plasma, Spectrophotometers, and Colorimeters. Take weekly chemical inventory. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials. Take aliquots and perform dilutions as needed. Grind and weigh soil and plant samples for use in analysis. Partake in Quarterly NAPT Proficiency tests for soil, plant tissue, and water testing. Make standards, stock solutions, and reagents. Use a multitude of different lab-wares (repeater and volumetric pipettes, burets, scales, stir and heat plates, vacuum filtration system).

Was responsible for operated the dish machine, changing the water, storing and using dish chemicals properly. Set up and organized the dish racks ensuring their cleanliness and supervised proper rinse and wash temperatures. Sorted and carried clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas; rewashed soiled dishes before delivering making sure that all ware was clean and sanitary before leaving dish-pit. Cleaned and maintained the dish-pit work area by removing trash and garbage to dumpster, setting-up and breaking-down dish-washing area, cleaning and rolling and unrolling floor mats, sweeping and mopping floors. Notified my manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.

Was responsible for operating equipment such as pressure washers, leaf blowers, zero-turn lawn mowers, and string trimmers to help maintain the grounds. Tended established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Captured and removed litter. Helped maintained or repaired tools, equipment, or structures. Mixed, sprayed or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides. Provided proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds features. Was the main point of contact during event venue rentals (Weddings, Parties, Funerals, etc.) and ensured that clients' audio/visual needs are met, executed the room setup and breakdown, provided light housekeeping for events.
