As a member of the litigation team I regularly represent the Secretariat in the Superior Court, Land Court, and Probate Court. Responsibilities include estate recovery litigation, 30A cases, and representing the Commonwealth in front of the Board of Hearings.

Responsibilities included serving as the lead prosecutor on criminal cases in Suffolk Superior Court, reviewing cases for indictment, preparing and conducting Grand Jury investigations, and working with highly vulnerable victims in search of justice. In the EPDU I specialized in serious cases such as armed robberies, sexual assaults, hate crimes, and gang related incidents with at risk victims, specifically senior citizens and persons with significant disabilities. Previously I served as an ADA in the Dorchester, West Roxbury, and South Boston Divisions of the Boston Municipal Court. While in West Roxbury I was appointed as the first ever point prosecutor for the Mental Health Court at the West Roxbury Division of the Boston Municipal Court where I helped to shape the structure and policies of the program.

Elected Vice Chair of the Student Bar Association, named a Lawyering Fellow for the school's Social Justice Program, and participated in the Criminal Advocacy Clinic. Also completed internships with the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Anti-Drug Task Force, with Sempra Energy, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, as well as the Northwestern District Attorney's Office.

Responsibilities included determining the implications of proposed legislation, drafting summaries of the findings, and formulating recommendations for the Chairman and committee members based on those findings. Other responsibilities included editing and drafting House bills, preparing and facilitating public hearings, and the filing of administrative paperwork for the committee.
