Responsible for a shift of over 70 people, ensuring a fully professional and efficient service is always provided to the onsite customer. Manage business KPI’s and processes, reviewing root cause analysis data to identify changes and improvements to processes. Promote continuous improvement projects to enhance the overall service to the customer through collaborative engagement.Management of the inbound and outbound dock on site, which receives 32+ trailers per day and dispatches 20+. This area requires meticulous planning to ensure all dock plan timings are adhered to, using constant communication skills with numerous external partners to ensure a smooth operation is maintained.Allocate and manage budgets, including overtime, headcount, and department costs to optimise business earnings and reduce unnecessary costs through loss and or damage. • Entrusted as the Operations Manager for the new EDU Production Line, ensuring strict targets are met in line with the customer to allow the successful launch of this new prestigious Operation at EPMC. • Constantly driving Health & Safety throughout the plant, this is extra challenging with the vast amount of new business being brought into the site. This is achieved through ensuring full compliance to policies and setting examples for the whole workforce to follow.

Responsible for manging the repair plan of the Challenger Tank fleet within the British Army, this plan and its assets are valued at over £22million. Liaison between platform SME’s and repair teams within various contractors. Facilitate contract negotiations to agree on financial year repairs, including costs, repair lead times and delivery schedules.

Spearhead the multifunctional supply chain operation, including warehouse management, inventory management, contractor negotiation, reverse supply chain and asset disposal solutions. Oversee a large team in ensuring all business KPI’s are achieved to strict deadlines and time constraints. • Redesigned and rejuvenated the Warehouse Operation, including its layout. The new streamlined processes resulted in a huge decrease of stock held within the warehouse, cleansing the inventory by over 20%. The result of which meant a reduced workload on other areas of the business, freeing up many man hours to focus on improvements in other areas. • Created a new business area which now accepts all inbound and outbound deliveries, this required meticulous planning whilst ensuring Military policy and safety procedures were met and maintained through the creation and introduction of professional work procedures. On completion, oversaw the training of personnel in executing the new procedures, who are now operating a fluent and efficient receipt and despatch section under my direction. • Developed a comprehensive asset tracking system for all equipment received from outside contractors. Implemented a database giving visibility to senior management of all assets received and returned to contract, speeding up equipment delivery targets. This tracker saw a noticeable and tangible improvement to the delivery timescales and equipment maintenance by over 30%.

-Managed a team in the re design and layout of equipment warehouse to a more efficient system, allowing easier management of stock and providing easier forklift access.-Start to end planning of military deployments, including the management of personnel throughout.-Setting up, maintaining and managing fuel sites on military exercises in various conditions, both in the UK and abroad.-Conducting full quality assurance checks prior to issue to aircraft to ensure the aviation fuel is up to standard.-Responsible for checking, maintenance and inventory checks of millions of pounds worth of equipment that is deployed on worldwide exercises.

-Provide logistical support ensuring serviceability of all vintage display aircraft at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.-Supervise and control over £40million of aircraft equipment using stock control and inventory measures on the military supply system MJDI (Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory).-Constant communication with supply contractors ensuring timely manufacturing and cost effective delivery of aircraft equipment.-Took the lead role in re-organising warehouse assets into a more efficient system.-Spent three months in USA as Supply liaison for a detachment of over 150 personnel. In constant contact with US Customs and various logistics companies to ensure all equipment and aircraft assets cleared on time, then organising timely delivery of those assets using various haulage firms. -Produced a spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel which enables accountability and traceability to all equipment that is sent to contractors for repair.-Successfully located over £5 million worth of assets that had been incorrectly accounted for across the Station.

-Ensured all assets within Primary Equipment Packs where fully accounted for and ready to deploy at short notice.-Weekly checks of all outstanding requirements and returns on aircraft inventories ensuring 100% accountability was maintained with inventory managers.-Supervised the organising of planned exercises, ensuring all required aircraft assets and support equipment was prepared and ready to deploy against stringent timescales. -Preparation and packing of dangerous goods items in accordance with International Air Transport Regulations in support of operations around the globe. -Liaised with numerous logistical focal points to ensure timely re-supply of exercises and operations.-Whilst on various deployments I was in constant contact with customs and embassies to ensure assets where delivered without delay. This included confirming correct import/export licenses where in place prior to deployment. -Processed all freight on to the unit using various supply systems including the tracking system VITAL, ensuring its delivery to squadrons and support sections. -Prepared and packed all outgoing freight to various stations and exercises across the UK and abroad, tracking it to its final destination.-As part of the LFP (logistic focal point) I was responsible for placing and hastening essential aircraft demands, achieving this by having constant contact with other LFP’s across the UK to ensure the satisfaction of required delivery dates.

-Part of a team in charge of sequencing various car parts, ensuring the continued operating of the production line. Incorrect sequencing could cost thousands to the company profit.-Assisted in the re-design and on site relocation of the sequencing warehouse to allow safer routes for forklift trucks and personnel.
