I am an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. I began my legal career in the year 2003 and was a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team of Zaid Ibrahim & Co. I have now been a Partner in Ariff Rozhan & Co since July 2015. I have close to 20 years of experience in dispute resolution with a predominant focus on Trial work and have appeared at all levels of the Malaysian judicial system including its apex court, the Federal Court. I have been instructed as lead counsel in a plethora of cases involving claims for fraud and conspiracy, insolvency, negligence and contractual disputes involving elements of undue influence. My Court work over the years has acquainted me well with the infinite procedural, technical and substantive nuances of Trial work, in particular the Art of Cross Examination which can take many forms and requires, amongst others, the ability to understand your witness and his motives.
