Duties & Responsibilities:•Ensure maximum space utilization and organization efficiency.•Ensure timely, efficient, and orderly processing of materiel coming into the warehouse.•Support chain of custody through the documentation, proper certification, and filing of all equipment issues.•Ensure that all commodity sections have been contacted for parts/material pick-up.•Ensure spot inventories are being conducted and documented.•Ensure the warehouse is kept in a good state of police, is organized and gear is serviceable and ready for issue.•Ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on all Material Handling Equipment, i.e. forklifts.•Ensure that security and safety measures are being followed.•Ensure temporary loans are current.•Ensure SL-3 inventories are being conducted on all sets, kits, outfits and chests that are not in administrative storage; order SL-3 deficiencies and validate the status of those orders.•Complete annual inventory/location verification of all assets found in the warehouse.•Plan for and execute training according to the training schedule. Review the training of all supply clerks and expand upon new subjects and reinforce basics. Ensure documentation is kept for all training that is performed.•Responsible for the technical execution of registered requirements and the process of materiel accountability and asset management.•Ensure all members of the supply section are accurately and sufficiently trained for the billet they hold and assist them in expanding and seeking greater responsibilities in supply chain management.•Review property book section to ensure changes are occurring timely and accurately. Supervise clerks to ensure chain of custody is being followed and supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately to substantiate changes in the Install Base.
