Currently my position with Ashley’s is in service which, in addition to installing all types of MFP devices from small desktop units to large production style copy presses, includes the networking and repair of these all digital document machines and mailing equipment. I am constantly assisting customers with computer related and network related issues as they arise as pertaining to their digital document devices. My tasks can include the deployment of network switches and bridges to allow our devices to communicate on the customer’s network. In 2022 I completed and received dual Associates degrees in Cyber Security and Network Support from Savannah Tech with the desire of transitioning into a more network focused role which in my current position opportunity is limited. In addition to my studies, I have built my own home network firewall/router device using the Pfsense. I have used Unifi equipment and have worked in their software as well. A Synology NAS device functions as my home server and runs several programs that protect the home network from attacks and runs the Ad blocking software PI-hole on docker running on this device. I am eager to find a role that challenges my skill sets and will give me the opportunity to learn and grow.
