Software Engineer with prior experience in investing, accounting, and business management. Throughout my career, I have helped multiple companies exceed their revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational goals while being drawn to subjects with logical processing like finance, accounting, and data analysis. In college, I got my first exposure to Computer Science as a part of my Financial Modeling course where I built a real-time model that would calculate stock option strategies from live prices and recommend trades. In my career, I consistently found that the part of my job I enjoyed the most was when I got to code. Whether it was writing SQL queries, doing data analysis, or writing Excel macros; I enjoyed looking at a problem, writing code to solve the problem, and often automating the process. Outside of software development I have a passion for preserving our environment and founded an environmental Nonprofit. In 2022 I was awarded the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for contributing over 4000 hours of unpaid work towards the organization and the environment.I'm always looking to connect!
