Board of Directors, and has assumed the role of chair of the Board's Audit, Finance & Risk Committee. He joined legacy Price Waterhouse in 1976 and was admitted into the partnership in 1987, and prior to retiring from PwC in June 2014, he was the firm's Global Forensic Services practice leader.As part of the Forensic Services group, he has led and participated in numerous investigative and forensic accounting projects related to financial reporting fraud, allegations relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other anti-corruption regimes, adversarial proceedings requiring the review of financial and operational records of the adversary, asset searches, management or employee embezzlement, and tax fraud, both in the US and internationally. His projects include Siemens AG, WorldCom, US Foodservice (Ahold) and numerous corruption investigations. He has assisted clients with respect to reporting and disclosure requirements in connection with the discovery of fraud and/or corruption, provided testimony to the SEC / DOJ, and assisted in the development and implementation of preventative compliance programs and in connection with remediation plans. Projects also include corruption due diligence conducted in connection with various acquisitions, requiring site visits to numerous countries. Corruption investigations have related to a number of industries, undertaken in more than 25 countries. Chris also has significant international experience as a result of two multi-year European assignments with Price Waterhouse and various project related international assignments, including a 14-month project in Germany. He also is a guest lecturer on investigative topics at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Missouri, and the University of Alabama.
