Within my most recent job role I have been able to gain many transferable skills that I feel may be valuable to your company if the opportunity arises. I was able to showcase my skills specifically by running the service department for the last three months ensuring that the department was able to run smoothly, not only by giving exceptional customer service, but by being able to communicate efficiently with third party suppliers to ensure the workload was able to be met on a daily and weekly basis. I was often the first point of call to solve challenging problems faced by my team to ensure the running of the department was run smoothly. To be able to do this it is vital that I am able to work effectively and efficiently within a team and ensuring my leadership skills are adaptable and above standard to the situation that may be occurring. Remaining calm under stressful situations allows myself to respond logically and decisively. However, I know when and how to ask for help when a situation demands it.I have worked within customer service roles for over 15 years and throughout these roles it has been essential to be able to communicate with all customers ensuring that their experience was the best that it could possibly be. It is vital that I am able to communicate with all people in an appropriate manner. I understand that everyone may communicate differently and therefore applying the correct communication technique is key to fulfil my job role. I use plain English when communicating with customers face to face and over the phone and would apply the same in written emails.Throughout previous job roles I was able to accurately and efficiently transfer relevant data from one programme application or work portal to another. I understand fully the importance of accurate record keeping and ensure all customer information is kept confidential as per the general data protection regulation ensuring all information is obtained in accordance with the relevant policies, protocols and codes of practice. Throughout my previous job roles I have obtained a great knowledge of the motor industry and take a huge interest in this.As a person I am highly motivated, ambitious and confident in my own ability. I am capable of working well within a team and on my own unsupervised being able to use my initiative. My time keeping and organisational skills are second to none and would consider myself to be extremely focussed and enthusiastic to those that I am working with.
