Operate the Nuclear reactor at Beaver Valley Unit 2

Flawlessly oversaw multiple shipyard procedures such acid cleaning a seawater system during which required coordinating and supervising about 30 civilian and military personnel.

Managed and trained a four man safety team, entrusted with utilizing industrial safety and lockout/tag-out procedures, ensuring repairs performed, by civilian shipyard workers onboard nuclear powered submarines, were completed on time and safely.

Oversaw dozens of hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, on air, seawater, freshwater, oil, steam and reactor systems.

Repaired Nuclear Reactor Support Systems. Stood operational and shutdown watches where I monitored and logged the conditions of nuclear reactor support systems.

Performed dozens of routine operations of potentially contaminated valves as well as preventative and corrective maintenance on contaminated and potentially contaminated systems.

Responsible for managing, scheduling, and supervising all reactor/support system mechanical maintenance, as well as training, supervising, scheduling and managing approximately 15 mechanics.

Responsible for scheduling, tracking, and supervising over 300 preventative maintenance jobs over the course of 6 major repair periods in 3 years.Machinist Mate (Nuclear)-Conducted preventative and corrective maintenance on dozens of mechanical systems including pumps, heat exchangers, steam traps, valves, and tanks.

An operational reactor qualification responsible for supervising nine, mechanical and electrical, engineering watchstanders. ENGINE ROOM WATCHSTANDER- An operational/shutdown reactor qualification responsible for monitoring reactor support systems, including recording parameters.
