Each site is valued at roughly $1.6 million. Worked to increase local food procurement in public institutions: hospitals, universities, K-12 schools, correctional facilities, senior meal sites. Activities included:+ Managed $80,000 in grant funding+ Collected and analyzed Farm-to-School data to create a Best Practices Workbook+ Worked with the Vermont Public Managers program to review state contracting practices around local food/ forest product procurement (Act 38)+ Coordinated producer, distributor, and buyer large workshops+ Participated in strategic planning to craft a new Section within the Agricultural Development Division to focus on increasing local food consumption

Christopher worked in the lab of Professor Mark Spritzer in the Biology department. In the lab, Christopher was the project coordinator for two projects: his thesis (Potential Roles for Luteinizing Hormone and Testosterone in Spatial Memory in Male Rats) and a summer project (Testosterone Level Influences Spatial Strategies Used By Adult Male Rats).
