Taught two introductory courses - HSRU 1000: The Enlightenment to the Present (a general modern European survey course) and HSRU 1300 - Introduction to Medieval History.

Taught introductory courses in modern European history and medieval history (see Senior Teaching Fellowship).

Worked, during the summer months of two consecutive summers, on compiling a database (Online Medieval Sources Bibliography) of printed primary source texts in various languages for French medieval history. Assisted in defining the search terms, categories, and function of the searchable online web-based database.

Transcribed assigned sections of a Latin medieval inquest done by a Bishop Leopardus in the fourteenth century. The project was part of an international effort to transcribe the register into a format that is expected to be published in the near future. Dr. Daniel Smail provided local direction; the main part of the project is led by Thierry Pecout of the Université de Provence in Aix-en-Provence.
