Senior Instructional Design Manager of one of Purdue University Online's Course Production teams. Before that, I was Lead Instructional Designer and Instructional Design Liaison for the Mitch Daniels School of Business at Purdue University. I have been also an active participant in strategic planning, the development and support of Purdue's online MBA, Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning program, and CoPILOT: Cohort Program for Innovation and Leadership in Online Teaching. I am the main liaison for instructional design services for Purdue's Colleges of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, and the Mitch Daniels School of Business. Formerly, I was an Instructor of History at Wright State University. There, I primarily taught multiple sections of Western Civilization I and I (to 1500 and from 1500 respectively), courses in medieval history, and the department's historical methods course. At Wright State, I actively worked on developing policies focused on best practices in distance education pedagogy. My PhD is in medieval history from Fordham University - specialized in the history of late medieval (13th-15th centuries) southern France, particularly the region of Provence and the city of Marseille. My dissertation examined the use of letters of marque and privateering as tools for state building by the late medieval Angevin crown.
