I am responsible for the operations of three separate facilities within Quebec, manage daily operations of 25 unionized employees and 6 Non-Unionized employees at 3 busy trans-loading facilities. Hiring, Onboarding, Training, Performance reviews and Discipline. I am the Co-Chair the Health and Safety Committee and am required to drive the safety culture for my employees.As well , I am to monitor and improve Operational Procedures, Safety Policies, Terminal Expenditures and ensure Compliance of all applicable Governmental Regulatory standards. Maintain $72M of equipment in excellent working condition across three facilities.- Assist Regional Manager and AVP in Business development.- Review new to-be-handled products with Regional Manager and Assess equipment and Staffing requirements.

Negotiate shipping rates, plan and schedule pickups and deliveries for time sensitive freight, implement transportation procedures, develop new and lasting relationships with various transport companies, communicate with multiple departments effectively.

Employee training and management, data entry, plan, prioritize and distribute work orders to warehouse and shipping staff, negotiate shipping rates, schedule transportation, oversee reception/distribution of merchandise, inventory control.
