CHRISTOPHER BLAKE – ProfileHe has been involved in IT and Management Consultancy for more than 35 years and is a leading exponent of the principles-based architectural approach to delivering system strategies, architectures, governance environments and business change. Currently he is Director of EA practice and head of the TOGAF training programme for iCMG. His main activities are to deliver TOGAF training courses and develop the International consultancy practice, and is involved in the development of the next generation of the TOGAF Specification. An active member of the Open Group Architecture Forum significantly involved in the development of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) into an Enterprise Architecture Framework TOGAF 8 and the development of TOGAF 9, for which he received the award for outstanding contribution.He has experience as an international level speaker, concentrating on Enterprise Architecture and Governance issues starting at the Open Group 2002 Boston Conference - ‘Boundaryless Information Flow’ . His Open Group Activities continued with presentations at Architecture conferences at Washington, Brussels San Francisco, Dublin, Barcelona and London where he presented on numerous Governance reflated subjects. He is a TOGAF 8 and TOGAF 9 (level II) Certified Architect.In 2012 he presented at iCMG Architecture world on ‘The Challenges for Enterprise Architecture Governance’He has developed a wide range of contacts with many leading companies in this region, including CXO level relationships.He is keenly interested in developing and delivering Consultancy and Training Services that seek to exploit Architecture value in the enterprise. Previously: consultancy, project management and IS development and strategy positions in major IT based companies including Logica and ATT Istel, totalling over 35 years professional experience in the management and technology consultancy.
