Operations Director focused on the growth of the aerospace business, organically, through management of a recent acquisition and investment in a new greenfield non-destructive testing laboratory. Lead a group of laboratories in the East Coast, Monterrey, and Houston that provide a similar set of services (destructive testing, fluorescent penetrant inspection, immersion ultrasonic testing and etch) to a similar group of customers, mainly engine disk and ring forgers.

Lead the establishment of Norsk Titanium's production worldwide with the first industrial site located in Plattsburgh, NY. This site will produce FAA approved Structural Titanium components using Additive Manufacturing Equipment designed and built by the Company. NTi recently announced its plans to establish the world’s first industrial scale Rapid Plasma Deposit (RPDTM) manufacturing facility in the United States. The transition of the company’s manufacturing operations to the U.S. is part of its long-term strategy to commercialize the application of additive manufacturing technology for use in titanium components. Norsk Titanium has completed the AS9100 certification for its Plattsburgh facility and is currently undergoing Customer Approval.

Overall management responsibility for Savannah Forgings Operations which was previously the Firth Rixson Savannah site operating within the Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions business unit. Firth Rixson was purchased by Alcoa (now Arconic) in November 2014. * Effectively transitioned financial reporting and daily management systems to Alcoa standard operating model*Led all site integration activities for EHS and Operational Excellence and Growth*Executed workforce rationalization plan to save over $3M annually in wages and benefits

Prior to taking P&L responsibility for the FR Georgia site in 2009, Chris was Vice President of the Firth Rixson Rings Division and was accountable for the operational and financial excellence of the U.S. and China operations (5 sites, $600M in revenue, 965 employees). Chris joined Firth Rixson in October 2004 as a Operations Director immediately following the purchase of the Schlosser Forge Company in Rancho Cucamonga California. He played a key role in developing the Theory of Constraints management operating system for the company during the ownership transition. Shortly after joining Firth Rixson, Chris was moved into the General Manager role at the Forged Metals site in Fontana, California reporting to the Vice President of the Rings Division. He assumed General Management responsibility for Firth Rixson Aerospace Components (Suzhou, China) Co. and Forged Metals in 2006 and was responsible for the revenue growth at the Suzhou site from start-up to $12M annually in 2007. In 2008 he assumed Divisional responsibility for the Firth Rixson Forgings Rings Division reporting directly to the CEO of Firth Rixson. Prior to Chris's career at Firth Rixson, he worked for Precision Cast Parts Corporation for 12 years where he held roles in Engineering, Production Planning, Operations Management, and Materials Management.
