As a high school student I value learning and have made determined efforts to accomplish true understanding of the material. I participate in the Voyagers program through the international Baccalaureate curriculum. I am completing courses which accrue college credits, as well as pursuing an IB medallion.As a worker, I maximize my time to ensure completion of the assigned tasks and proactively assess potential upcoming needs. I like to create a friendly atmosphere with my co-workers: I once organized all the servers and the band at an event, to tip the bartender throughout the evening and tell him what a good job he was doing!I am an outdoors enthusiast and constantly seek out opportunities to experience new locations. During my high school years I trekked the BWCA, been to summer camps, explored Minehaha Falls by canoe, visited national parks and became a Wilderness Enquiry Ambassador. I prepare well for eventualities and find that this is a helpful trait when venturing out in the wild
