Serving as the MRSL ESOP Trustee and Member of the ESOP Plan committee. Fiduciary responsibility for ensuring proper conduct and operations by the trust for the beneficiaries within ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations.

Served as Chairman of the Board for MRSL, Inc. Helped guide the transition to MRSL being an independent company. Led buyout of MRSL from ManTech and negotiated financial and legal agreements. Worked directly with financial institutions, the Small Business Administration, the legal team, and the ESOP providers to set in place the full transition package. Guided the MRSL Board of Directors for startup of MRSL and establishment of basic operations and policies for both the company and the Board. Helped MRSL transition to new leadership and proud to say that our first year of operation had an increase in annual revenue increase of +20% and highest profit ever.

Technical lead and program manager for the VIVID POINTER development team consisting of 3-8 engineers, on-call staff, and sub-contractors. Develops long and short-term project work plans and oversees implementation of all aspects of VIVID POINTER development. Supervises team members, write evaluations, develops personnel training programs. Tracks and coordinates project progress and costs. Works business development and capture. Writes cost and technical proposals for new business opportunities and supports all aspects of customer relationships from initial contact to post delivery support. Develops and implements new algorithms in embedded real-time systems.

Lead professor for electrical engineering group. Responsibilities include: developing new educational and research initiatives; acquiring new funding; teaching undergraduate and graduate electronics classes; and participation in school, department, and professional service activities. • Awarded over $2.2M from industry and NSF for research and educational development.• Extraordinarily active in creating new initiatives including development of two NSF-industry-university research centers, an electronics prototyping/fabrication facility, a DSP laboratory, and student data acquisition systems. • Research areas included high power electronics, hybrid-electric vehicles, and novel teaching methodologies. Worked with numerous government agencies including the Ballistic Missile Defense Office, foreign technology assistance (Israel), DoD and national laboratory programs for high power/directed energy weapons (AFWL, Los Alamos, Sandia, Livermore, Picatinny Arsenal, Eglin Weapons Lab).

Platoon Leader of a tactical signal platoon consisting of 40 soldiers with two million dollars ($2M) of communications equipment. Planned/implemented all training, readiness certifications, field deployment and operations. Resulted in highest level of communication availability during two major field exercises.
