Main accountabilities:- Optimisation of Systems architectures and their integration into the product- Independent assessment of Airbus programme reviews- Managing the definition, architecture and cascade of Technical Design Directives in the Extended Enterprise environment- Securing opportunities in R&T for improving Aircraft Overall Physical Architecture design- Defining collaborative integration processes and methods to ensure right first time architecture specifications

Leading Transverse Engineering activities including: Systems Physical Architectures and their integration into the Aircraft; System Interface Management; Safety; Supportability; Engineering Change Management; Weight Management and Recovery Task Forces

- Leading Systems development in pre-concept phase- Managing technical aspects of the Future Large Aircraft bid- Chairing Customer working groups elaborating functional requirements- Managing handover of pre-concept architectures to the design and development teams

Leading Airbus UK technical activities in support of Flight Test, Final Assembly Lines and Customer Delivery Centres.Engineering authority for Landing Gear, Fuel and High Lift systems. Managerial authority for systems and structures teams in Toulouse and Hamburg.(MAP = "Mise au Point")
