Our tiny roastery is nestled on the banks of the River Derwent in the North York Moors National Park.We believe there should be more locally produced coffee. We believe it should be easier to find high quality beans and that there should be greater awareness of how incredible and artisnal coffee farming really is. When and why did coffee become so faceless? Our mission is to find interesting & delicious beans, be transparent about where they came from and educate on the whole lifecycle & process from cherry to bean to cup. We happen to make fantastic coffee too!We roast, pack and distribute our beans within the optimum time frame for peak enjoyment. This means new coffees every month, aligned with the harvests. Supply is limited and once it's gone, it's gone (until the next year)!

Based in North America I was accountable for REPL WFM client relationship management and delivery across multiple customers and accounts in the Workforce Management (WFM) industry.Leading WFM programs with multiple Fortune 500 companies it was my responsibility to drive WFM thought leadership, industry insights, strategy formation and best practice with customers as well as internally at REPL. I ensured we successfully delivered our WFM services and solutions and exceeded our customers’ expectations.

An ambassador for REPL in the constantly changing and challenging US market and an expert in all things workforce management (specializing in retail and hospitality). Transitioning from the UK to the USA operation, I managed a team of industry leading consultants focusing on WFM implementation, strategy, professional services and analytics.

Continuing on from the same responsibilities I held as a Senior Consultant, I led an awesome team of 5 other Seniors in delivering remarkable service for our clients.

Working in the implementation division to deliver successful projects for a variety of customers and suppliers.My role was to apply technical skills and industry best practice to deliver solutions that assisted customers in maximising their operation. I suggested improvements to all aspects of my customer’s operation. Furthermore, I was a trusted advisor for the customer providing expertise, assistance, training and consultancy during the full project life cycle including; process analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, system testing, configuration, training, procedure development and go live support.

As a workforce manager I was responsible for the configuration, design, evolution & maintenance of the Mitchells & Butlers workforce management system; in particular for their high volume drinks brands. As well as this I built, maintained, documented and evolved the labour standards model to enable effective delivery of their service models.I also maintained an audit log and acted as gatekeeper of system integrity on behalf of the operators, as well as continually revising brand labour standard models in line with their service cycle changes and brand offer evolution.Lastly, I recommended areas of opportunity to refine labour standards to brand leadership, based on analysis and feedback from (and observance of) operations. The aim of this was to continually deliver improved guest satisfaction whilst ensuring the delivery of brand financial targets.

Following a successful transition from the office secondment to Deputy of the popular White Swan pub in Harborne in Birmingham, I was offered the incredible opportunity of holding the General Manager position at the Whittington Arms. Here I was tasked with recovering the business from a recent dip in trade and service standards. I worked with most incredible team during my time at the Whittington Arms and consider this position as one of my most formative to date.Part of Mitchells & Butlers' Premium Country Dining Group - top-class country restaurants situated in idyllic locations and beautiful buildings, many including their original rustic features and log burning fires.

I started off in Cardiff as the opening Assistant Manager of Missoula (formerly Lakota). From here, I moved to a struggling late night venue in Liverpool and then onto another opening of a real ale pub in the heart of Chester.Having successfully supported the General Manager opening the Red Lion in Chester, I took a deputy position at the well-known Bacchus Bar in Birmingham.
