I am currently employed as a QA Software Test Engineer with Textron Systems. We are a large corporation that develops various hardware technologies such as military aircraft and unmaned systems as well as a variety of other products. Our specific branch focuses in the development and innovation of geospatial software solutions in the commercial, defense, as well as intelligence industries. Textron Systems is at the forefront of developing some of the most advanced remote sensing exploitation products in the software market today. It is my passion to further improve my knowledge in the various markets we are immersed in as well as the plethora of innovative software products we develop and the real world applications they can be used for to solve issues through geospatial data more efficiently and effectively. I plan to further my education through graduate school and soak up as much knowledge and technical skills as I can and further improve my networking within the geospatial industry to explore all of the opportunities available to me as a GIS/Remote Sensing specialist. Considering the close knit relationship our company has with ESRI it is my desire to enhance my knowledge of the cutting edge products ESRI is developing as well as how their unique plethora of geospatial products can be integrated into many different industries to both improve planning, environmental sustainability and awareness, and business development/solutions. I have a strong affinity for how geospatial technology and it's rapidly improving advancement can help us not only monitor our environment but also to improve our understanding of our relationship to the Earth and it's immensely complex web of vital systems that allows our species to survive and thrive.
