As a supervisor I hire and teach new employees propriety software, legal regulations, and customer specifications that are generally not available in other environments. My focus is to collaborate with all internal teams to manage customer requests and provide cross training which allows employees with little experience to gain the knowledge to become specialists in their preferred areas of focus.

The training team was created out of a need to quickly and efficiently teach a MRO software to a customer we were completing a complete system migration for. The standard responsibilities included teaching classes and creating training and learning material to help facilitate self paced learning for hundreds of students. In addition I assisted with data migration tasks, created and delivered internal classes on in house applications, and helped create processes to breakdown organizational silos.

I worked directly with an IT professional, Frank Picazio, to maintain and improve the technological support for Sound Community Services in New London, CT. Over the course of this internship I learned all about what it means to be an IT professional. Skills I gained includes: network management and security, technology compliance in the business world, hardware management, and much more.

While working at Walgrees I had many responsibilities. From checking out customers and developing film, all the way to organizing product and restocking shelves. No matter duties I was given, I was always expected to keep customer satisfaction as my primary objective.
