Logistics Manager
Current• Accountable for the quality of products by establishing priorities, scheduling activities of employees, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems for onsite modifications to product. • Establish manufacturing quality standards, executes established manufacturing methods, identify facilities needs, execute policies and procedures. Satisfies all product requirements. Obtains technical/engineering support to resolve and correct problems related to production and quality of the product. • Assigns responsibilities and delegates authority to shift and lead operators. Continually communicates and updates them on all priorities, changes, needs, etc. related to the assigned area of operation. • Makes recommendations for the improvement of production processes. Works with process engineering in the implementation of new/modified processes. • Develops a manufacturing production plan for the area. Coordinates all requirements with sales, engineering, and material availability. • Direct involvement with supplying the companies state of the art solar inverter and battery storage technology for a 20 million dollar project for Australia’s first multi gride located at Ikea super store in Adelaide • Sets priorities for production schedules, based on new product introduction, equipment efficiency, and material supply. • Interacts with many levels of the organizational engineering, marketing, sales, technical, and facilities staff.
