Shortly after leaving my previous employer, Scarfes and the Security management opened up a new position for myself which previously had been staffed only by agency workers.Responsibilities include;• Being the first point of contact of residents and general public entering the Bar and Hotel• Assessing Customers & following the challenge 25 policy.• Liaising with the Bar manager to secure tables for hotel residents & VIPs and external guests.• Overseeing and assisting with the management of the bar security team as well as the safety and security of our guests, associates and premises.• Working alongside the Bar Manager and Security Manager to ensure all events are appropriately staffed with security and a smooth running of service for the guests.• To be the point of contact for any escalated guest complaints or queries, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.• Assist with investigations that need to be conducted and gather any evidence required in relation to incidents that may take place.• Responding to First Aid / Fire Alarms activations.•Training of new associates and agency workers•Briefings and handovers to both, Bar Management and Security Management

Internal and External patrols and escorting visitors around the premises.• The Royal Albert Hall - Duties include the escorting of high-profile clients and VIPS from vehicles and venues at high-risk events. Front of house bag searching and foot patrols to deter unlicensed tickets sellers. Static posting backstage to prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas.• The BBC Radio 1 & 2 - Working as part of a security team to facilitate the clients visit to the venue they require, covering threats to clients that could come from a range of sources including terrorist organisations, political opponents, stalkers, or over-enthusiastic fans.• The Alexandra Palace - Event duties such as, monitoring the safety of viewing areas, controlling the entry and exit from grounds where events are held. Carrying out routine searches on people entering the event, directing customers to entry points, and providing supervisors and managers with detailed Accident and Incident reports at the conclusion of a shift.
