Contributed significantly to a number of NuScale accomplishments including: • raising over $500 million in equity via private placements and merger with a SPAC; • filing a $500 million shelf registration and preparation of a $150 million “at the market” facility; and • transitioning NuScale from a privately held to publicly traded company.

Contributed significantly to a number of NuScale accomplishments including: • securing $1.6 billion in cost-share awards from the U.S. Department of Energy for NuScale and CFPP, the first planned deployment of a plant based on NuScale SMR technology; • securing NuScale’s second customer, RoPower; • securing cost-share awards from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency for potential NuScale customers in Ukraine, Romania, Indonesia and Ghana;

Contributed significantly to a number of NuScale accomplishments including: • securing $226 million in cost-share awards from the U.S. Department of Energy for NuScale; • securing NuScale’s first customer, CFPP, LLC; • building out operations organization from ~40 to ~150 staff to support NuScale product development and NRC licensing;

Services and Project Holdings: Provide executive oversight to Unistar's participation in US EPR projects as a development service provider for and equity participant in new nuclear power plants based on the UniStar US-EPR design, in particular, the 1600MW nuclear power plant (the"Project") in Lusby, MD being developed by Calvert Cliffs 3 Nuclear Power, LLC ("CC3"). The Services organization is responsible for negotiating all major contracts, obtaining permits and approvals for the Project. The Project Holdings organization holds UniStar's membership interests in CC3 and is responsible for negotiating debt and equity financing, including sale of project interests, for CC3. The combined organization has seventy-seven employees, an annual capital budget over $100 million and contract service revenues over $40 million. Notable achievements to date include: the issuance by the Maryland Public Service Commission of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for CC3, the issuance by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (with the Final Environmental Impact Statement expected by April 2011), US DOE offer for a Conditional Loan Guarantee Commitment and negotiation of an essentially final Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for CC3 with a consortium comprised of AREVA and Bechtel.

AMD Reclamation is a 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania corporation formed by GenPower to design, finance, construct and operate a five million gallon per day mine de-watering facility at an abandoned/bankrupt mine site, to facilitate the mining of coal overlying the abandoned mine. Principle involvement was the raising of low interest loans and grants to finance the construction of the facility, and the negotiation of a de-watering agreement to fund the ongoing operation of the facility. In addition to exposing additional coal for mining, a major discharge of highly acidic mine drainage from the abandoned mine was prevented, which will instead be used, ultimately, as cooling water make-up for the Longview Power Project described above.

Coal Project Development: Direct the development and origination of large, coal-fired power projects, focused on competitive siting and formulation of development strategy. Responsible for negotiating all major contracts, obtaining permits and approvals and raising capital to fund development, and negotiating debt and equity financing, including sale of project interests. Manage four individuals and numerous third parties in the development of the coal project portfolio.The most significant project developed to date is the $1.8 billion, 695 MW (net) Longview Power Project located outside of Morgantown, West Virginia, selling power into the PJM Interconnection. Development of Longview commenced in June 2001, received its air permit in March 2004, Site Certificate in August 2004, transmission interconnection services agreement in March 2006, Certificate of Need in June 2006, received a final NPDES Permit in October 2006, executed a power purchase agreement with PPL Energy Plus in January 2007, executed EPC Contracts with a consortium of Siemens and Aker-Kvaerner/Songer in January 2007 and closed on project financing of $2.1 billion on February 28, 2007.

Responsible for managing three professionals and two staff in origination and acquisition of large combined-cycle technology, gas-fired power projects in the United States, as well as serving on senior management committee overseeing all investment and development decisions for North America. As part of management team, oversaw the development of 5300 MW of generation, 3500 MW of which was financed and put into construction

Originated and directed development and financing for the Millmerran Power Project, the first privately-owned Greenfield power project in Australia. Project consisted of development and construction of an 840 MW supercritical coal-fired power station and adjacent three million ton per annum coal mine. Responsible for directing $28 million project development effort and raising project financed debt and equity of $940 million. Participated in sale of 47.5% of project interests to Marubeni, GE Capital and EIF.

Australia: Established Australia country office in 1996. Responsibilities included new business and power project development. Prior to departure in December 1999, operation had grown from a single employee to over twenty employees, executing construction of the $930 million, 840 MW Millmerran Power Project, bidding for acquisition of a 50% interest in Callide C (successful) and pursuing other greenfield development and acquisition opportunities in the power generation sector.

Provided financial structuring advice and negotiated term sheets for financing of greenfield power projects and acquisitions for a number of projects in Latin and South America.

Commenced work as financial analyst developing pro formas for a number of projects including a copper mine development, a power project refinancing, corporate investment diversification and a greenfield power project. With regard to the latter, represented company's 10% interest in Dabhol Power Project, principally in the negotiation and documentation of the project financing provided by OPIC, US Exim, US commercial banks and Indian financial institutions. Also supported sell-down of 4.99% interest to PG&E Generating. Subsequent to initial project financing, participated in negotiation of stand-still agreement with creditors while project legality was challenged (unsuccessfully) in Indian courts.

Managed a number of staff auditors in the performance of financial, accounting and business process audits across a number of GE's business lines, including: Retailer Financial Services, Appliances, Plastics, Defense Systems, Medical Systems.Received leadership award in July 1990 for identification and reconciliation of a significant inventory misstatement in a business division disposition.

Participated in a series of six month assignments through a number of the engineering areas, including: controls design, test facility design and support and new component testing and certification.
