Formerly a Senior Emergency Management Coordinator for the Region and a Disaster Management Program Coordinator for the Canadian Red Cross, I also have a PhD in Politics, focusing on emergency response policy in overlapping jurisdictions and non-traditional security policy. My previous work researched risk management, the behaviours of International Institutions, and emergency response practices, especially wildfire management and flood mitigation.
