Gas Supervisor
CurrentWork involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling in areas such as quality systems, safety and construction compliance, site readiness inspections, customer interfaces, and policy & procedure applications. Assigned roles related to storm restoration activities. Initiates and leads project initiatives or change implementation efforts to improve results. Manages interfaces with other utilities or entities. Involved in management and inspection of contract work to include field verification of work completion to contract specifications. Perform effectively and efficiently in routine and non-routine/emergency situations with minimal guidance. Work On Call for emergencies situations that arise for South West territory. Work and coordinate with Appliance Service Programs and Commercial and Industrial work sites, processes and procedures and field compliance.• Thorough knowledge and application of work methods, work processes, & related technology, and principles of the work in the field of gas transmission, gas distribution, gas construction, gas service, or gas compression & storage operations and equipment• Skill in application of quality systems • Thorough knowledge of company policies and Working Agreement application • Thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling process • Skill in relating to union employees and leadership• Skill in negotiating & conflict resolution with internal and external clients• Applies thorough understanding of policy coupled with leadership skills to resolve process and employee issues• Skill in transfer of knowledge in New Hire employee development
