I work as an Software Engineer for my company DCS Corps. I work as a contractor for DCS Corp's clients and work with their teams or individually to support their work, develop products, and deliver software requirements on time and professionally.My work involves meeting with clients, discussing Software Requirements, developing prototypes and implementations for software to demonstrate to our clients. My work is split between solo and team oriented tasks. I work on various programming languages such as: C++, C#, C++/CLI, and Java. I work on contracts by my company to fulfill requirements that are constantly shifting and changing, and providing updates and data analysis on a timely schedule.I work in a multitude of systems from UI/UX, database, 3D graphics, and networking. I have developed for mobile and desktop environments. Much of my work involves completing tasks in sprints in an Agile workflow using Atlissean tools.

As a Jr. Software Engineer, I worked on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 systems to help debug, test, and implement features, fixes, and, improvements for PlayStation Now. I learned how to develop both on a Linux and Windows OS environment. Having hands-on experience for both client and server related code, debugging, and testing has expanded my understanding of the methods, test cases, and implementations required in an OOP development. For Linux operating systems I used both Ubuntu and Xubuntu platforms to build, test, and code server and some Android related cases. I gained a large understanding and appreciation for the Linux terminal, from building packages and running programs, version control with Git, and how to operate the systems overall for both basic and development use. On Windows I utilize Visual Studios 2010 to debug and code for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita systems. Primarily I utilized C++ language to develop for the Gaikai Player, which powers the PlayStation Now streaming application for each system. I have an understanding of OOP, encapsulation, thread management, memory allocations, and working with singleton design methods.

I attended DeVry University to obtain a degree in Game and Simulation Programming. At DeVry, I learned to develop the skills and habits I would need to work in a professional level developing software and managing projects in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. As an accelerated learning environment, we had to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly, implement them appropriately, and continue learning and studying after courses finished, which is something I proudly adhere and maintain to this day.

At the Walt Disney Company's Disneyland Resort, I learned the skills to work as at team and communicate with both guests (customers) and cast members (employees) to deliver that Disney experience to all who come through our doors. I am always working hard to try and make those guest experiences memorable, but also to help those I work with have a great time too. The most important part of my job is always maintaining communication with everyone, supporting those around me, and fulfilling my roles and tasks efficiently and effectively to keep things working smoothly.
