Humanitarian, environmentalist, gardener, outdoor adventure enthusiast, cook and food lover, holistic healing advocate, mental health counselor, spiritual seeker. My life has been a journey towards understanding and improving the human condition, while promoting the over-all health and happiness of the community, one individual at a time. I am a responsible, motivated, achievement-oriented team player who has brought empathy, compassion and sound judgment to our social systems. My intention is to promote a health and wellness influence for the community I serve to support opportunities for learning. I have served as a mental health rehabilitation counselor for seven years, a crisis intervention counselor for 2 years, and a life skills counselor for three years. I've been a ski racing coach and ski instructor for eight years. I was employed as a landscaper and construction worker for twelve years total. I have been gardening all my life, learning to be my own mechanic for five years now and have been learning to cook food from all over the world for fifteen years now.I grew up skiing and ski racing so I have become an avid outdoor adventure seeker. I enjoy back-country skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, camping and off-roading. I appreciate cooking in the outdoors, learning new survival techniques, enduring various weather patterns and reflecting on my life experiences from the top of a mountain.Currently, I am seeking opportunities to work for the Colorado State or US Forest Service or the National Park Service. In the meantime, I will continue to serve the people of Colorado to improve their quality of life in all ways possible.
