Currento Oversee projects such as lifecycles, Cisco IOS upgrades and new process implementation across multiple buildings as the lead engineer • Assisting network team in migrating our sites to SDWAN architecture. • Upgrading IOS firmware on IDF and MDF Cisco switches. • Migrate sites from old camera system to newer Milestone system. • Lifecycle UPS batteries and UPSes for IDF cabinets. • Assist in setting up new Automatic Vehicle Inspection systems in sites.o Troubleshoot and configure devices in MDF and IDFs which consists of Cisco devices, Juniper devices, Linux and Windows serverso Act as the lead engineer on multiple new site builds • Responsible for ensuring MDF delivery within deadline which involves building servers and configuring network devices. • Develop a plan to configure IDFs network devices within specific time frames to enable other team’s work. • Work with vendors to ensure devices are connected to internal network by configuring and connecting vendor devices to Cisco ISA3k and IE2k devices. • Lead team to configure end user devices before building launch date.o Was part of the first Tiger Team cohort that was responsible for migrating over 300+ sites in the United States to new network stack. • Responsibilities of the Tiger team was to migrate IDF and MDF to new infrastructure during a 24 hour shutdown window in Amazon building. • IDF responsibilities included configuring all Cisco 9500 and 9300 switches in cabinets, rewiring fiber uplink connections and downlink connections, and migrate over from stacked model to distribution and access layer model. • MDF team responsibilities included migrating from Cisco Catalyst 4510 to new aggregation routers that consist of Cisco 9500 stacks, rewiring downstream links to the distribution switches in IDFs, rewiring connections for MDF servers and devices to new aggregation routers. • Assist in troubleshooting any network related migration issues.
