Respond to all incoming telephone calls and in-person requests from the public, county employees, attorneys, and staff members, provide assistance and/or directs to the appropriate person. Prepare and maintain legal documents, files and legal research items including docket preparation. Prepare legal paperwork for court proceedings input cases and related data to computer and prepare reports from same data: monitors database information system. Assist and instruct other employees with their duties assigned, plan and review work of others, act on employee problems and recommends selection of new employees. Participate in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers. In addition, maintain calendars (personal and professional) for Chief of Juvenile Division, plan events and training's, assist with victims and case preparations for trial.
