Currently I am a Field Processor working for Ethos Laboratories in the Springfield, Missouri area. I am responsible for bagging and shipping off urine specimens to our lab, as well as gathering all pertinent data of the patient getting screened such as; patient demographics, insurance information and medication lists. In addition to bagging and shipping, I also am responsible for entering the patient data into our companies online portal with all relevant information about the patient in order for the insurance company to be billed.

I am currently a specimen processor at the Ozarks Community Hospital, employed by All Medical Personnel. I am responsible for determining whether a urine specimen has reached an appropriate volume, so I can then enter a patients vitals information and the medication that the patient is currently taking into our online system for processing at the lab. After I send off that information, I then package the specimen individually and at the end of the work day, I send the specimen off through UPS. I serve as a point of contact between the clinic and Ameritox, where I pass relevant information along to the head of the clinic, as well as my immediate supervisor, whenever anything has changed in how operations are expected to play out. I am also responsible for taking inventory of the tools that I need to process the specimens, as well as keeping my work station properly sanitized at all times.

I ensured that any and all product that leaves the kitchen and is put in our front case has been prepared to our guidelines, and that the product put out is quality and one that we can all be proud of. I take care of general management duties such as placing inventory orders for the store every Monday, and addressing employee complaints and any complaints that a customer may have.
