Managed day to day operations and work production protocols with a goal of increasing efficiency and billable hours. • Performed and supervised annual inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fixed wing and rotary wing light aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations. • Inspected aircraft to confirm compliance with all current FAA Airworthiness Directive’s (AD), Service Bulletins (SB) and Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) compliance. • Maintained aircraft logbooks and records I/A/W FAA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 14 Part 43; Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 91 and 135.• Maintained: Beechcraft, Cessna, Hawker, Piper, Mooney, Grumman, Aerostar, Douglas, Stinson, Diamond, and Cirrus aircraft.• Replaced engines and engine components on Turbine and piston engines. Performed maintenance on engines including but not limited to: Pratt & Whitney PT6, R-985, Lycoming IO 720, O 320, Continental IO 550 to C85. Engine items replaced or repaired include but not limited to the following: Turbine fuel nozzles, exciters, engine monitoring components, cylinders, pistons, valves, lifters, exhaust manifolds, magneto’s, intake heaters, carburetors, fuel injection pumps, injectors and starters. Conducted turbine engine flushes and general routine maintenance.• Performed major and minor sheet metal repair. Performed corrosion control, landing gear replacement, repaired/replaced wet wing, bladder and integral fuel tanks.• Performed major modifications to include Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) installations and major repairs requiring FAA field approval (FAA form 337). • Facilitated aircraft recoveries after major and minor accidents. • Inspected aircraft and completed FAA Special Airworthiness Certificates for the purpose of ferry flight (FAA form 8130-6). • Managed and tracked parts room inventory placing stock orders and special orders as required.
