Co-Chair of Tahoe-Douglas Rotary’s 50th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Fundraiser. Annually the premier March event in Tahoe, this event is attended by 500-600 people with an online live auction; the past four events have raised $250,000 combined. As co-chair of this year’s Golden Anniversary event, the roles of partner and I was to oversee all aspects of the annual event, from the entertainment, supporting the Auction Committee, Marketing, Ticketing, Major Gifts and Donor Support, Event set up, and service contracts.

ABOUT MY ROLE:- Managed 25 employees and independent contractors spanning 4 Facilities in 3 counties across 2 states- Managed over 35 different funding streams- Four key programs involving Clinical Services, Street Outreach, Drop In Centers for At-Risk Youth and Mentoring programs - Respected Public Figure ACCOMPLISHMENTS- In recognition of our need to be competitive and invest in the valued services, streamlined the budget to allow for staff salary increases and secured the organization’s first full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist- Leveraged groups and resources by establishing collaborative relationships to meet the needs of a cause- Created Jail-based Substance Abuse Treatment and Diversion program by leading a partnership with the key groups of Social Services, Law Enforcement, and the County’s Mental Health Office. This holistic program was created to address the issue of jail recidivism- Founding member of the Douglas County Behavioral Health Task Force and the South Tahoe Community Mental and Behavioral Health Cooperative

Served as At-Large Member representing Homeless Population; worked with parties from across the state to sponsor Emergency Food Assistance Program legislation

ABOUT MY ROLE:- Managed 12-16 staff for Family Programs for Homeless Women and Families with Children- Managed two facilities; responsible for all state and federal compliance; Responsibilities included maintenance schedule for buildings, handling rent and Section 8 applications, and operating company van (16 Passenger occupancy)- Programs covered Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, Recovery and Youth programs- Organizational representative and advocate for homeless familiesACCOMPLISHMENTS • Moved into management position after three months of hiring.• Became Campus Director at the end of my first year.• Managed all family based programs and facilities by the end of my second year.• As Family Division Director of The Rescue Mission, we achieved an 80% success rate for households moving into permanent housing while serving more people each year.

- Created and implemented age appropriate curriculum- Assisted transitions for students going from toddler to pre-school programs
