Accounting - •Performed all duties and routines of a Controller, including; the preparation of Monthly Financial Statements the detailed preparation of the Annual Budget negotiations with the Company’s Lender handling the Annual Review with Public Accountants Partnership Items and Notifications•Continually developed and provided “Management Based Reports”•Administered a Credit Policy that consistently resulted in a low DSO and minimal Bad Debt Write Off (23-25 days, 1/4 to 3/4% of Net Sales)•Was directly involved in the sale of the Company, twice (Due Diligence)•Responsible for several vendor negotiations, including those with Small Package Carriers, producing significant savingsMIS/IT - •Set up and maintained the Company’s PIC System – business software for order processing, fully integrated into the General Ledger (ERP)•Developed a working BOM and associated procedures, that monitors / maintains an accurate inventory and produces a minimum of waste•Developed, managed and maintained the Company’s EDI Systems •Set up and maintained a database reporting system, using such programs as Access and NavicatHR - •Administered an in-house payroll system (Pensoft Payroll) including the filing of tax deposits and reports•Assisted in the design of a Performance Pay System for Production Employees.
